Our rapidly growing practice in sunny Papamoa is seeking another part time nurse/health care assistant.

We currently have six Registered Nurses and two Health Care Assistants in our team and are looking to welcome another nursing team member two or three days a week as the practice continues to grow.

At Papamoa Beach Family Practice, we pride ourselves on great work-life balance with most of our team working 3-4 days a week. We are a cornerstone accredited practice with >11,000 patients. We are a cohesive collaborative team of GPs, nursing, and reception staff and work closely with our health coach and Health Improvement Practitioner.

Expressions of interest from both clinical/primary care assistants and registered nurses are welcomed.

Must have:

• Experience working in primary care environment.
• Current First Aid Certificate (L2) – or able to obtain prior to employment.
• Clean Police record.
• Positive can-do attitude.
• Ability to work hours rostered between 7:30am – 5:30pm Mon-Fri, and Saturday mornings on a rotating roster. Exact days to be negotiated with successful candidate, but will include Fridays.

Preferred but not essential if applying as a Registered Nurse:

• COPD management experience/interest
• Advance Care Planning experience
• Certified Smear taker
• Independent Vaccinator Certification
